Victory Hill Daycare is a licensed, Christian-founded, multicultural childcare facility serving children ages 0–5. We follow a play-based program that supports children’s development and learning in a loving, inclusive environment. Our centre is rooted in strong family values, and we work in partnership with parents to ensure each child thrives.
We believe in celebrating diversity and teaching kindness, empathy, and respect for all. Victory Hill is a safe, welcoming place where children are free to explore, discover, and grow.
Our Philosophy
We believe that all children have the right to experience childhood in a safe, nurturing, happy and stimulating environment. Our Daycares philosophy of learning through play and our guiding document is The Early Learning Framework (ELF). The Early Learning Framework is a document written primarily for educators and others involved in and supporting early learning, with a focus on children from birth to age eight (approximately grade 3). The framework is designed to provide guidance for:
• supporting and enriching children’s early learning experiences
• providing a focal point for conversations between families and educators
• demonstrating how important early
learning is for children.
We believe that all children learn best in a nurturing, child-initiated play-based environment that fosters self confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy and acceptance of individual differences. This environment will promote development of the whole child, through free play and teacher guided activities and outdoor exploration of nature. We encourage open communication with parents and staff members. We believe that parents and staff members work as a team for the benefit of the
children. Through experience and continued education in the childcare field, our educators will grow professionally and be more effective in fulfilling their responsibility as Early Childhood Educators.

Our Values
At Victory Hill Child Care Centre, we hold Christian beliefs and values. We believe that God has an active part in all aspects of our lives, therefore we hope to plant seeds of self-worth, self-confidence, courage, boldness, integrity and team spirit in each child through nurturing in God’s love, sharing biblical worldview and encouraging godly values in creative and innovative ways. We believe that early positive formation of a child’s character will ultimately impact the community through intergenerational influence because children are the future and sustainability of any community and the country at large. Therefore, our goal will be to form close bonds with each child through warmth, love, trust, respect, encouragement, fun and creating a caring environment that promotes positive social interactions and mutual respect for others. As a

on the caring and sharing aspects of Christmas. The Nativity (Birth of Christ) will be acknowledged in the program during the Christmas Season. The Centre does not celebrate Halloween, but rather will focus on Fall by having a Fall Harvest Party.
